Bike Commuter Challenge Trainings:

Interested in being a workplace captain for the commuter challenge? We'll get you the information you need to get your team setup and on their way to victory. Clif will be providing packages for team captains, so you can get your team fueled for the month ahead. The April 26th training will be exclusively for women and female-identifying people, led by female staff members.

Bike Commuter Stations

If you only bike to work one day this month, be sure it's Bike to Work Day! We'll have stations all over the City with free coffee, and food and drinks from Clif and Purity Organic. 

Location: Nine stations throughout the five boroughs

  • Williamsburg Bridge
  • Queensboro Bridge
  • Staten Island Ferry
  • Chelsea  (W 24th St Esplanade / Hudson River Park Bikeway)
  • Grand Army Plaza
  • Manhattan Bridge
  • Upper West Side (Riverside Drive and 72nd St.)

Bike Home from Work Party

Celebrate Bike Month with us in DUMBO! The Bike Home from Work Party will feature more than 30 food, drink, and retail experience vendors, including Bike Month partner Brooklyn Brewery. Brooklyn Brewery will be hosting a beer garden under the Manhattan Bridge and serving their latest summer brews. Food trucks will include El Super tostadas, 2nd City Beef Italian sandwiches, Brooklyn Biscuit Co., and more. Cycling clothing purveyors will include Po Campo and Vespertine. Giveaway opportunities will be provided by Primal Wear and SoulCycle, and tons of giveaways from our generous sponsors, Clif Bar, Purity Organic, Aloe Gloe, and Living Juice. TransAlt members will be treated to a free beer by Brooklyn Brewery and discounts at many vendor booths.

Date: Friday, May 19th, from 6-10pm

The party is open to the general public, admission is free, and RSVP is encouraged via Facebook

TransAlt will lead a bike ride, presented by Citi Bike and Men's Wearhouse AWEAR-TECH line, from the Brooklyn side of the Williamsburg Bridge to the Pearl Street Triangle. DJ Vida Ventura will provide a pulsing soundtrack for the ride from the back of a Citi Bike bike train and then will continue to spin at the party itself. The ride is also open to the general public and RSVP is encouraged. To join the ride, meet TransAlt at the Citi Bike docks at the foot of the Williamsburg Bridge at 5:30 PM. The ride departs at 6:00 PM sharp.
